Porter Township Fire Dept. - Fire Hydrant Testing

The Porter Township Fire Department will begin

testing fire hydrants on Thursday, April 2nd, 2015. 

These tests will be done on Tuesdays and Thursdays

between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

The tests will continue until all hydrants hae been tested.

Please call the fire station at 740-574-6030 with any questions

regarding these tests, Monday - Friday from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Residents may dispose of unwanted items and debris from

Wednesday, April 29th -  Saturday, May 2nd

7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 

 Dumpsters will be located at the Service Department located at 8809 Green Street in Wheelersburg. 

This is a fenced in area and access will only be given to Porter Township residents.

Drivers' licenses will be checked.  All debris must be placed in the dumpsters and

not beside them.  No hazardous materials such as paint, oil. asbestos,

refrigerators, freezers, etc. will be accepted.
